About this policy

This Cookie Policy explains which cookies and similar technologies this website uses, why, and how you can control them. It applies to the site operated by Tembo e-LV B.V. and its related bodies corporate (“Tembo e-LV”, “we”, “our” and “us”) and should be read with our Privacy Policy.

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that a website saves in your browser. Similar technologies, such as your browser’s local storage, work in much the same way. We use “cookies” in this policy for all of them.

First-party cookies are set by this site. Third-party cookies are set by another company’s service that the site uses, such as an analytics tool.

Your choice

When you first visit, a banner asks whether you accept analytics cookies. Nothing optional is loaded until you choose, and Accept and Reject are equally easy. If you reject, the site works exactly the same.

You can change your mind at any time with “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page, or with the button below. If you withdraw consent, analytics stops and its cookies on this site are deleted. We ask again after 12 months, or sooner if this policy changes materially.

To show that we asked and what you chose, we keep a record of each choice: a random consent ID, whether you accepted analytics, the date and time, the version of this policy, the page you were on, your country and your browser type. It contains no name, email or IP address, and we delete it after two years. Once you have chosen, your consent ID appears below; quote it if you contact us about your choice.

Necessary

These are needed for the site to work and to keep it secure. They do not track you and cannot be switched off in the banner.

Our enquiry forms also use Cloudflare Turnstile to check that a person, not a spam bot, is sending the form. It runs only when you use a form, does not set advertising or tracking cookies, and processes technical information such as your IP address and browser details for that check only.

Analytics (only if you accept)

These help us understand how the site is used, such as which pages people visit and where they get stuck, so we can improve it. They are set only after you click Accept.

Google Analytics. We use it with IP anonymisation, and its advertising features are switched off.

Microsoft Clarity. It shows us, in aggregate and in anonymised session recordings, how people scroll, click and move through pages. Clarity masks what you type into forms.

Google and Microsoft may process this information outside your country, including in the United States.

Videos and fonts

Some pages show videos from YouTube, Vimeo or Bunny Stream. The player is loaded only when you press play: until then you see a still image and nothing is sent to the video platform. YouTube videos play in its privacy-enhanced mode and Vimeo videos with “do not track” on, but once a video plays, the platform may store information in your browser under its own policy.

The site’s typefaces are served by Adobe Fonts and Google Fonts. Your browser connects to their servers to load them, which shares your IP address with them, but we do not use these services to set cookies.

No advertising cookies

We do not use advertising, retargeting or social media tracking cookies on this site, and we do not sell your information. Links to our social media pages are ordinary links: those platforms only see you if you follow them.

Managing cookies in your browser

You can also block or delete cookies in your browser’s settings, usually under Privacy or Security. Blocking all cookies may stop some sites from working properly; on this site, blocking local storage means the banner will ask for your choice again on each visit.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, data protection law, such as the GDPR in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, or the Privacy Act in Australia, gives you rights over your personal information. These include the right to know what we hold and why, to access and correct it, to have it deleted, to withdraw consent at any time, and to object to its use.

To use these rights, please contact us. You can also complain to the data protection authority in your country.

Changes to this policy

We update this policy when the cookies we use change. The date at the top shows the latest version. If a change affects what you agreed to, the banner asks for your choice again.
