Held at the new Tembo facility in Eindhoven, Netherlands, the training event featured Tembo e-LV engineers walking the GHH team through the different technical and operational requirements necessary to install and implement the Tembo electric vehicle conversion kits. Among the attendees were technicians and non-technical personnel from across GHH’s offices in Germany, India, South Africa, and Turkey.
As part of the programme, the Tembo team gave GHH representatives a tour of the new Eindhoven facility, which was opened in May. Attendees also had the chance to test drive one of the Tembo electric vehicles at the Lansard driving facility. The EV that they drove is earmarked for delivery to GHH Turkey.
“It was great to have a variety of GHH folks, from several countries, visit our new facility in Eindhoven for technical and operational training on the Tembo e-LV. It really proved to be a successful few days for everyone involved,” Matthew Nestor, Director, Head of Global Partnerships at VivoPower, said.
In September 2021, VivoPower and global mining solutions provider GHH signed a Definitive Agreement for GHH to purchase electric light vehicle conversion kits from VivoPower subsidiary Tembo e-LV over the next 5 years, which involved a multinational partnership across over 50 countries.
