Alun has worked within the automotive industry for over 25 years, starting his career in Supplier Quality and Quality Systems roles. He has worked for more than 20 years as a Quality Manager for a leading automotive product manufacturer, supplying to customers such as Ford, Volvo, JLR, Nissan and Honda, and achieving world class product quality performance levels within the demanding automotive sector.  

As a Quality Professional, Alun has a passion for management systems and continuous improvement with the development and empowerment of team members at the heart of his approach. He has an in-depth understanding of the IATF 16949 automotive quality management standard, having achieved many successful certifications and accreditations in his career. His experience also extends to leadership roles in supplier quality management, programme management and product testing management. 

Alun received his B.Eng. Mechanical Engineering honours degree from UWIST in Cardiff and has Chartered Engineering status from the Engineering Council UK, as well as Chartered Quality Professional status from the Chartered Quality Institute.
